If you’ve ever tried to memorize an entire chapter of the Bible but gave up because it seemed too daunting, I have good news for you! Psalms 117 is the shortest chapter in the Bible, and it consists of only these two verses:

O praise the LORD, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people. For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the LORD endureth for ever. Praise ye the LORD. Psalms 117:1-2

Even though it’s short, the words can be impactful on your life if you offer them to God every day during your praise and worship time. And, if you need a reason to open your heart to Him, besides all His benefits, this verse makes it clear that He has called all of us to Himself, not just Judah. From listening to the world and even some preachers, you would think that only Israel is to be saved, but that isn’t true. We are also saved by the blood of Jesus, our Savior. God has called all of us; every nation and all people. Worship Him with all your heart and soul; give it all you’ve got! He is worthy.

Side note: The fall feasts, appointed by God in the Old Testament, are beginning in a couple of days, starting with the Feast of Trumpets. Get your heart right and dedicate some of your time to Him in remembrance of His feasts.
