If there was ever a time in history that we needed reassurance, it is now. We have been inundated with fear-mongers spreading a message of doom and gloom. These people may have good intentions and may help us prepare for whatever comes next, but it can take a toll on our mental health. These distractions are taking our minds off God and making us internalize worldly situations. Don’t be fooled. We are in the hands of God himself and can rest peacefully in His shelter. If you begin to feel overwhelmed by everything happening, pray Psalms 91. The words of this psalm will comfort those struggling with anxiety and fear and will set our minds straight by reminding us that God is in control and his message is always peace when we rely on him. We will have trouble in this world, but Jesus has overcome this world on our behalf. Trust Him, and he will get us through this rough season.

Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation. Psalms 91:14-16

Our primary goal as believers, as the world seems to be crashing and burning, should be to bring as many as we can into the sheepfold of Jesus. In this day and age of social media, God has made it easy for us to make a difference in the lives of others. We no longer have to walk from town to town to bring the salvation message to the lost. If we inundate our newsfeeds with the information of salvation through Jesus, the people of the world will have no choice but to see it. A quick read as they scroll by will be enough to prick their hearts if the Holy Spirit calls them. If Jesus appears at this next Feast of Trumpets, we want everyone to be ready so no one is left behind. Time is short, so let’s take everyone we know with us as we meet Jesus on that special day.

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matthew 28:18-20

In John 10:9-10, Jesus said, "I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."

Whether or not those saved by Jesus are taken up into heaven at this next Feast of Trumpets, October 2nd-4th, we all know something big is looming. If you haven't committed to Jesus, don't you think doing that now is a good idea? If, for some reason, the media tells you that aliens took all the Christians, don't believe them! We will be safe in heaven with Jesus, but you won't. Do not take the mark that will seal you for eternity in hell! It would be better for you to accept Jesus and die a martyr's death than spend even one day there. I would rather know that you are going with us when we leave this world than think you got left here among the demons. A simple, heartfelt prayer confessing that you're a sinner and want Jesus to save you is all it takes. Go to my Facebook profile, where I've uploaded prayers over the last few days if you are struggling with the words. But know this: God can read our tears. Isn't that beautiful? I hope you will join us as part of God's kingdom and walk through the door of Jesus.

I shake my head at what I think about when contemplating leaving the earth with Jesus. Since it seems like we are on the cusp of tribulation and the Feast of Trumpets starts in a few days, I began thinking about what I will leave behind if the rapture happens, not material things but my dogs and all the animals. What will become of those who are stuck here with a bunch of unrepentant rejectors of Christ? The funny thing is God heard my concerns without me saying a word. I had looked up a verse that someone mentioned on social media last night, so when I opened my Bible app, it was on a page in Isaiah about the new heaven and new earth. So I decided to read that page, and lo and behold, I got my answer plus more!!

And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD. Isaiah 65:24-25

Before I even called, He answered me! There will be animals. I hope God lets them go with us and my little dogs don’t get stuck in the house with no food and die from hunger and loneliness. I know what you’re thinking: why would I be worried about dogs when people I know and love will be left behind? Well, the people ultimately chose to reject Jesus and have had every opportunity to turn to him, but my little dogs cannot help themselves. I’m sure God has a plan for the animals because my heart aches for what could happen. Isaiah must have loved animals, too, because, in addition to mentioning them here, he also mentions them in Isaiah 11.

Did you know that Jesus will wash away all your past and renew your life, leaving you completely clean? Did you also know that it’s as simple as believing that Jesus is the only son of God and that he was sent to us to help us? He was sacrificed for the sin we’ve been found guilty of, and now we do not have to face execution for our sins because he was executed on our behalf. He was hung on a cross, bled, and died, and then three days later, he came back to life, proving he was God in the flesh. He was both man and God at the same time, so he knows the trials we face because he faced them too. We cannot go near God full of sin; he cannot look at us in our sinful state because he is holy and pure. We are all filthy and full of sin, but if we accept Jesus’s free gift of salvation, God the Father will no longer see our filth; we will be covered and protected by the holiness of Jesus and will not face wrath for rejecting Him. Don’t let anyone fool you, saying that there is another way into heaven; there is only one way, and that is through salvation in Jesus.

If you feel compelled, pray a heartfelt prayer confessing and feeling sorry for your sins, and ask Jesus to save you. The truth is that he already has; you just need to acknowledge this truth and accept his free gift of salvation.

Lord, I admit I am a sinner. I need and want Your forgiveness. I accept Your death as the penalty for my sin and recognize that Your mercy and grace are gifts. You offer me because of Your great love, not based on anything I have done. Cleanse me and make me Your child. By faith, I receive You into my heart as the Son of God, Savior, and Lord of my life. From now on, help me live for You, with You in control.

In Your precious name, Amen

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13

September 23, 2024

I've been all over in my studying this morning, trying but failing to understand the timeline of Jesus' return. My question is, what must occur before we see him coming in the clouds? From scripture, compared to what is happening now, there are still many things that must occur first. However, when we look at some points, many of those things are happening. There is still a lot of mystery. What does Jesus mean when he says it will be as in the days of Noah? If he means disturbing, heinous, and unfathomable acts are taking place, those things are happening throughout the world right now. Do you know that people around the world are counting on Trump getting into office to straighten things out? Why are we all counting on a man instead of Jesus? Another question: will we have to stay here until the last trumpet?

Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 1 Corinthians 15:51-52

I don’t want to wait until the last trumpet; I’m ready to be caught up now. My brain cannot process what the evil elites are doing to people. I don’t want to wait. This world stinks! and it’s only getting worse. RANT OVER. I don’t want to end this with negativity. BUT JESUS! If it weren’t for him, we would have no hope. Because of him, we can and will endure to the end and do it filled with joy because of his promises. Hold on to what you have until the end, and remember, if you love your life, you will lose it, but if you hate it in this world, you will keep it for eternity. I’m counting on that promise and Jesus’s return. Come quickly, Lord Jesus.

He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. John 12:25

Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. Revelation 3:11

September 22, 2024

If someone came to you panicking, knowing you are a Christ-follower because they can see that the day of the Lord is drawing near or that something big is happening and fear has gripped them and asked how to become a Christian, what would you tell them? Your answer will come when you think back to the day you trusted Jesus with your own life and share your testimony, even if you were a child when it happened. Many of us come to know Jesus because of fear but have learned that it is trust that compels us to salvation. We must trust and believe that Jesus is the son of God, was born of a virgin, and came for our redemption from sin. We must trust and believe that he didn’t die in vain, that his death was a sacrifice for the penalty of our sins, and that the blood he shed was to wash us clean. We must trust and believe that after facing a tortured death on the cross, he rose from the dead after three days in the tomb and showed himself to many so they might tell others as proof he was alive. It seems like a lot to believe initially, but they wouldn’t be asking for help if the Holy Spirit hadn’t compelled them. And God wouldn’t have put them in your care if He didn’t believe you could handle it. Consider it a privilege and an honor to show someone the way to salvation. Don’t practice a speech, but know the basics and have those confirmed in your mind, but allow the Holy Spirit to guide you. Everyone is different, so what you tell one person may not be what helps another. It is the perfect season for us to cultivate souls for Jesus. Let’s help as many as we can, come to know our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10
