The Parables Of Jesus: 17

Laborers in the Vineyard

The owner of the vineyard hired laborers for a day's wages at different times of the day. As the day was ending, he called the people who had been hired last and gave them their wages. When he called the people he had hired first and paid them the same wages, they couldn't believe their eyes and balked at their pay, but the employer reminded them that they had agreed upon that amount, even though they had worked longer than the others.

The J-ws were called first, and then the Gentiles. However, they thought they were more worthy than the Gentiles, but just because they may have been called to Jesus first, doesn't mean they will receive more blessings than those of us called later into his kingdom.

Don't get this wrong, most of the J-ws of today are usurpers and not of the holy lineage, so you can nearly guarantee that those you see on television and social media are liars, using their dishonest genealogy for financial gain. Don't fall for it. For that reason, genetic testing is very strict in Israel and is only done by medical professionals and kept very secure so that no information is leaked. Doesn't that give you cause to pause and wonder why? These same usurpers are repulsed by Jesus and are as close to heaven as they will ever get here on earth unless they repent and turn from their wicked ways and accept Jesus as their Savior.

So, whether you were chosen as a child or as an older adult, Jesus paid the same price for all of us. Some of us labor every day for the kingdom; some have barely worked an hour, but our wages are the same: eternal life with Jesus. That makes it all right.

Jesus said:

Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good? So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen. Matthew 20:15-16
