God always has a good word at the right time! If you need encouragement, take a minute to read Psalms 112; it’s a short ten verses, but filled with a delightful message from God. Of all the hope in these verses, the most heartening words are that God tells us we have no reason to fear evil. In this day and age, we could use all the encouragement we could get when it comes to the sinister acts of those bent on spreading wickedness. 

He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD. His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies. Psalms 112:7-8

But wait, there’s more! If you spend your time ministering to others and doing what God has called you to do, there is an added blessing: his house will be full of riches, and his righteousness will last forever. Knowing this, stand firm, mighty warriors of God. Shore up your armor. Though we may live in a season of deception where evil is allowed to run amok, we are set apart from it and thrive fruitfully by the grace of God in the kingdom of Jesus. 

His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed. Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever. Psalms 112:2-3
