May 15

It’s moving day! I’m excited but exhausted, and it hasn’t even begun. This body is worn out! My arm feels like it’s going to fall off from all the painting I’ve done over the last couple of weeks, but the house feels all fresh and renewed. It’s amazing what a little paint will do. I’ve pushed this body hard, but it’s all I’ve got to use right now. One day, I will be absent from this body and fully clothed in life, no longer mortal but immortal, dwelling in the presence of Jesus. The pain I feel reminds me that I’m still alive and still on a mission to make known the ways of God and to bring others in on the deal. There is no better way to show your appreciation for all that Jesus has done for you than to live your life for him. That’s what I’m trying to do.

Here is how good God is: this verse fell into my daily Bible reading and fits perfectly with what I’m experiencing. Why am I amazed by him? He’s always so good to me.

For while we are still in this tent, we groan, being burdened—not that we would be unclothed, but that we would be further clothed, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.  2 Corinthians 5:4

And just like that, the plandemic is over. On May 12th, it’s still in full swing, and you must wear your mask outdoors, then suddenly, on May 13th, it’s over? Read between the lines, the pharmaceutical company’s reputation was being destroyed by the CDC guidelines requiring a “vaccinated” person to wear a mask; what’s the point in getting the shot if it doesn’t work to stop disease? Now a person who’s had the jab can resume regular activity. Fortunately for me, I live in Florida, where requiring vaccine cards is against the law. The truth is, I was fully vaccinated as a child, and since then, my immune system has done its job, and I haven’t been sick in years! Our lifestyle was only different at the beginning of this fiasco because we decided that loving our family was more important than life itself. Being separated from them was unbearable and worth the risk. What’s next? Exactly! What is the next thing they will come up with to try and control us since this didn’t work? Let’s hope God stops them in their tracks, whoever “they” are. One day we will get to the bottom of all the lies, but until then, keep expressing your concerns to the Father, who is in control of everything, including our very lives.

For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:17-18

May 13

Today is day 39 of counting the Omer; there are 11 days left until Pentecost, beginning tonight, ten days. I post these countings to remind you that we are still in a holy season, and God is at work doing some mighty and powerful things. We should all be anticipating something special. Did you know that there is a total lunar eclipse on May 26? That’s three days after Pentecost. Is that a sign from God? Yes! I don’t know what it means, but it’s written in the heavens.

If we have a total communication blackout or even a power grid outage, stay calm and do not fear, and know that the good guys are in control, and it’s all a part of the plan. There is an undercurrent of information saying that it might happen. Good things are on the horizon, but we may experience some discomfort while the bad guys receive their retribution. Read Psalms 91; it is a powerful weapon and a great source of comfort.

A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only look with your eyes and see the recompense of the wicked. Psalms 91:7-8

May 12

All the pieces are falling into place. God’s plan, from the beginning of time, appears to be well underway. Satan's dirty deeds are being sorted out, and anyone involved will face God’s wrath. Turn off the television. Nothing you see is true. You may think that local news is safe; it isn’t; they taint it with the filth that’s spewed on national programs.

Prepare your hearts and minds because what’s unfolding cannot be stopped, and even the most hardened hearts will find the information that comes to light reprehensible. You must be honest with yourself and think things through to the end and ask, “what are they doing with all these children trafficked at the border?”. They are being scattered all over the United States; why? What’s happening cannot go on forever; God won’t allow it. You will be able to see it all come to an end very soon. The fallout will be devastating, but not for the believers; we are safe. The end of the disgusting behavior is near. The newest crisis, the gas shortage, is just an attempt to take your attention away from the truth. Stay focused, and continue to pray for darkness to be revealed.

For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:6

May 11

I didn’t think I could do it, but I’ve almost painted an entire house in just over a week! I’m down to one room and a couple of walls and should finish those this morning. The floors have been refinished, new carpeting is down in the bedrooms, fence, and pavers go in today, and our transition to our new home is well underway. It feels good to see progress being made and bringing a home back to its former glory. The same thing happens when we renew our life with Jesus; some people are healed immediately upon accepting him as Savior, but others progress slowly and accept his healing little by little. Freedom comes when we receive all he has to offer; it’s a matter of believing. A renewal comes when we let go of our fear, rejection, trauma, and unbelief, which lead to regrets from the things in our past. Allow Jesus to heal you today; confess, repent, anoint, and pray! Let’s start this upcoming Pentecost renewed and expect a jubilant season.

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 2 Corinthians 3:17

May 10

The world has taught us to fear the unknown and the retaliation of God for our disobedience. But are we the ones who need to worry? No, absolutely not! We have made a commitment to Jesus, and he has told us not to fear. I think much of what we have learned is to teach us to be obedient to our government through a system of propaganda filtered through television programming. I realize that it’s too simplistic to say we should look at the Bible in two ways; one way for evil people and another way for us, but it would make more sense if we did, and it would remove the element of fear from our lives. We ARE God’s people. Paul says that when we accept Jesus, we are adopted, grafted into the vine. An adopted family member receives the same inheritance as the other children. My daddy is loving and would never do anything to harm me, and we should look at God in that light. I have confidence that we are not to fear what is coming to this world; the world needs to worry. We are safe from the wrath of God; he is our protector and our loving daddy.

even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, Ephesians 1:4-5

But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, although a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing root of the olive tree,  Romans 11:17

May 9

Have you ever met people that your spirit confirms are Christ-followers, even though Jesus's name isn’t mentioned? We have a guy that has installed carpeting for us for years that has been helping Richard lay flooring in our duplexes. He has gone above and beyond the call of duty, and we wanted to take him and his family to dinner to show our appreciation. I’d always known there was something different about him, then after meeting his family, I realized what it was, it was Jesus. His wife was sweet, and his children were adorable, and they all exuded the aroma of Christ. Jesus is the chain that links his followers' hearts together, and The Holy Spirit confirms the connection in our spirit. I’m so thankful for my brothers and sisters in Christ and looking forward to the day, which I believe will be soon, that every face we see, we will know that they love Jesus.

But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere. For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing, 2 Corinthians 2:14-15
