February 13

How long must we contend with the likes of evil? It’s hard to imagine that God would allow the current criminality to continue and the good people, who lean on Jesus, to lose hope. I haven’t lost hope, and neither should you. The time for our faith to increase is now, along with our prayers. We are currently seeing Satan’s lies exposed, and a genuine awakening is happening throughout the world. Every day God is showing me new things to bring into the light the plot to do harm and enslave the world by a new world order.

This perfect plan wasn’t put into place by man; it spans over a time much longer than the life of man, and we can only attribute this to Satan. Those involved in carrying out this scheme are merely puppets in his hands. Even though it’s called a new world order, there is no order to this decree because it will only cause more chaos and heartbreak.

This war is spiritual, and the only way to fight it is to put on the whole armor of God. Stand firm, mighty warriors! God is opening a door for you to step through and be a part of this new era where he is glorified. It makes the evil forces shudder, and if it makes them shudder, that makes me happy! Similar to the plot by the Jews to kill Paul, it was foiled by people like us doing our part.

When many days had passed, the Jews plotted to kill him, but their plot became known to Saul. They were watching the gates day and night in order to kill him, but his disciples took him by night and let him down through an opening in the wall, lowering him in a basket. Acts 9:23-25

Why do we have to suffer at the hands of the enemy? It’s part of the threshing process. I watched a video on threshing because I’ve never seen it. It’s pretty simple but seems brutal! In the video, they put the whole stalk of wheat in a cloth bag and beat the heck out of it; then, they used a fan to winnow and separate the wheat from the chaff, or the husk. We are that stalk of wheat, and God is only interested in our perfect fruit that’s been threshed and winnowed. We must go through trials and be beaten-up to learn to rely on him entirely and forget this world's draw.

Paul lived a pretty good life, but didn’t he notice that he was killing people, God’s creation? God had to do something dramatic for him to learn the truth. He appeared to him, blinded him, and then healed him at the hand of another Christ-follower. Then, he continued to thrash him; he wrote the process on the pages of the New Testament as letters. Learn as much as you can from Paul’s threshing, so you don’t have to go through as much of that complicated process.

But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen instrument of mine to carry my name before the Gentiles and kings and the children of Israel. For I will show him how much he must suffer for the sake of my name.” Acts 9:15-16

People are learning the truth about the lies perpetuated by our government to gain control of the people. As the truth becomes more transparent, many are taking back their precious freedom afforded by our constitution. I don’t think we know what real freedom is, being none of us have lived in it. Unknown to us, our constitution became void in eighteen seventy one by an act of congress, and we all became owned by a foreign government and have submitted to them since. I know this may seem far fetched, and we are living as if we had all our rights under the constitution, but if you pay attention and do a little digging, you will find that what I’m saying is true.

Do you ever wonder why our country is so obsessed with British royalty? There’s a reason. However, according to some of the sources I read, the agreement and the corporation of eighteen seventy one is now void, which opens the door for us to go back to living with our constitution and cleaning up the laws and congress, and offers us the ability to take back our financial system. Our current government is part of the defunct corporation and may find themselves out of a job and even guilty of crimes.

Many of our past presidents tried to warn us about this, including John F. Kennedy and Ronald Regan. I’m no history buff, but because of our current situation, I’ve been digging in and learning as much as my little brain can handle. Do I believe in misinformation? If so, many people are saying the same thing, and they aren’t connected, and their evidence is compelling. Don’t take my word for this, do your own search. The truth is out there, but sometimes you have to dig a little.

We have a choice; live with the current administration that is ushering us into communism or take back our rights under the constitution. Keep praying! The only way this will end well is for God to take control. He hears our prayers, and I’m convinced he is going to set us free.

We often wonder how murderers and others who commit egregious crimes receive forgiveness, especially when their crimes are against us. Some find Jesus before they are executed, and others live for him while in jail. God gives us an example in Paul. Here is a fun fact about Paul; he was initially called Saul, but was also called Paul. According to Matthew Henry, Paul means little; that’s a good name for him being he was only 4’6” tall! Maybe people calling him Paul was to keep him humble. God’s forgiveness of Paul is a prime example of how merciful he is. This little man was killing God’s chosen! He was also a scholar and knew his way through the scriptures, and as we know, he wrote most of the New Testament. God had given him skills that he could use to spread the word about Jesus. Paul is a picture of God’s transforming power. Don’t get too mad when a convicted murder or other heinous criminal comes to know Jesus and receives forgiveness; Paul was the worst of the worse.

And falling to the ground, he heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?” And he said, “Who are you, Lord?” And he said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. Acts 9:4-5

WARNING! CONTROVERSIAL! But is it? Most believe that you receive the Holy Spirit upon accepting Jesus as your Savior. If this is true, why did Peter and John need to go to Samaria to pray for the people there to receive the Holy Spirit after they accepted the Word of God?

for he had not yet fallen on any of them, but they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Acts 8:16

I’m going to muddy the water a little more; you cannot be saved without the Holy Spirit. If it is true that you receive the Holy Spirit upon acceptance of the Word of God and at your baptism in the name of Jesus, why are there so many “pew sitters” that are unsaved? They’ve gone through the recommended process, but because of their actions, it’s obvious they don’t know Jesus. If everyone who claimed to be a Christ-follower had the Holy Spirit, this world wouldn’t be in its current predicament.

By the way, I haven’t found any verse that says you receive the Holy Spirit upon acceptance of Jesus and his Word. The closest I found is Ephesians 1:13, and it doesn’t give a sequence of events like Acts 8:14-17

Then again, maybe some get the Holy Spirit right away, but the caveat is that you must genuinely accept Jesus and believe in your heart that he is your Savior. I want you to question your salvation to make sure you are genuinely saved. I don’t want to scare you, but I also don’t want to see anyone get left behind.

Now when the apostles at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent to them Peter and John, who came down and prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit, for he had not yet fallen on any of them, but they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then they laid their hands on them and they received the Holy Spirit. 8:14-17

People fear change. In biblical days, the Israelites feared leaving Egypt and their captors' tyranny, yet God had a plan. Through Moses, he helped free them from their slavery and gave them a land of their own.

‘But I will judge the nation that they serve,’ said God, ‘and after that they shall come out and worship me in this place.’ Acts 7:7

Many years later, Jesus came to free them from the captivity of their sin, but most feared the change in their religion and rejected him. They didn’t want to believe him even though he showed them signs that only God could do.

What is holding you back from trusting God completely? We must get beyond our fear, relax, and watch as God takes control of our destiny. We might have to spend a little time in the desert, but not very long. He has heard our prayers and cries for mercy, and he will answer them; give him time to work out the details and watch as things fall into place. Jesus loves us; he will never forsake us, that you can be sure. Shore up your faith and keep praying!

February 7

What really happened? Have you ever wondered if what we are seeing is real? Have we been fed an illusion? Do you ask questions, or do you accept the narrative? When something is a little off, do you investigate the inconsistencies or look it up to find an opposing view?

We have become so well programmed that we believe everything we hear without question. My advice; question everything! Do a little digging; the truth is out there, but sinister beings are trying to keep the masses under their control, so they cover it up. I’ve been saying this for a long time about biblical teachings, but I didn’t realize we needed to do the same thing with current events. Who knew? I feel like we are watching a blooper reel with the bloopers explained away.

Ask God for discernment and to open your eyes to the truth, not only for biblical teachings but also for everyday life. Stop watching the news! It’s nothing more than a theatrical show to control you and feed you lies. If anyone is going to control me, it’s God, no one else! How about you? Be a Berean about everything!

Now these Jews were more noble than those in Thessalonica; they received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so. Acts 17:11

February 6

I’m sometimes surprised when the scriptures match current events. I’m even more surprised when it falls into the place that I’m reading. I don’t mean to over-teach on specific topics, but I can’t make this stuff up; it’s right in front of me.

There is an algorithm on some social media platforms that when certain words come up, your posts are shadowbanned or given a “fact check” warning. When you teach that specific things are wrong or that God is good, these reprobates don’t want you spreading that information around, so they label your post and categorize you as a domestic terrorist.

The same thing happened to the apostles. They were jailed for speaking out, but through an angel, God released them and told them to go and teach, so they obeyed. Their teachings infuriated the Sadducees' party, much like it infuriates the people in our government of today when we speak about the things of God. They don’t want reminders that what they are doing goes against him and is sinful in his eyes, so they make up new rules for the common people to follow but exclude themselves from those rules.

“Thus those who make void the commandments of God are commonly very strict in binding on their own commandments, and insisting upon their own power.” Matthew Henry

The point of today’s message is that if God commands you to speak, and man prohibits you, you had better obey God or face his consequences for disobedience. God controls your eternity, not man.

saying, “We strictly charged you not to teach in this name, yet here you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and you intend to bring this man's blood upon us.” But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men. Acts 5:28-29

February 5

I’m running behind this morning. Rudy, my little dog, kept me up again last night with stomach issues. I thought he was getting better, but it turns out that he’s still in some pain. It’s the enemy trying to distract me from my mission. He can’t get to me, so he uses my dog.

The atmosphere is stirred. As a reminder, if you haven’t thought of this already, we are not alone on this planet earth, one-third of the angels got kicked out of heaven, and these demonic beings exist here with us. They follow the orders of Satan and wreak havoc on weak individuals with their minds set on gaining material wealth. If you try to get in their way, they will run over you like a bulldozer! It’s like hitting a hornet’s nest with a stick; you better run! The enemy is after many good people because they speak the truth, but the world is blinded by the lies spewed by the media, who are in the pocket of Satan. Don’t believe them unless it’s a conservative station like One America News.

The truth is, we have two-thirds of the angels on our side, and our mighty Savior Jesus who is their commander, the Holy Spirit who gives us wisdom, and a Father who adores us. Together and separately, his power is no match for Satan. Keep your heads looking up; it’s not over yet!

Unlike Ananias, with his wife Sapphira, I’m keeping my promise to the LORD, and staying on-task and not testing him.

But Peter said to her, “How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.” Acts 5:9

What do you have that belongs to you? Doesn’t God own everything? Even the body we exist in belongs to God! When we treat it with contempt, aren’t we abusing God’s property? When we treat others poorly, we are hurting the only thing they have, their spirit. If we abuse their body, then we are abusing what belongs to God. Why then are we allowing the situation of the world to get us down? Dwelling on what other people are doing to one another causes us grief because our hearts break for the pain their physical body is enduring and the spiritual pain that may not heal as quickly as bodily pain. The mental games that people play to gain power and fortune will eventually only prosper to bring about their demise. When everything is gone, what will you have left? Only what you have stored in your heart. That’s why it is so essential to guard your heart. Don’t let the affairs of the world penetrate your soul, place Jesus between it and the abuse of our worldly existence; it’s all you own; protect it.

“They did not call it their own, because they had, in affection, forsaken all for Christ, and were continually expecting to be stripped of all for their adherence to him.” Matthew Henry

Now the full number of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one said that any of the things that belonged to him was his own, but they had everything in common. Acts 4:32

February 3

Much has transpired that seems surreal, things that happen only in the movies. However, this movie is a dry comedy where the actors lack sense and appear stupid, conducting themselves contrary to wisdom. What is going on? Does anyone else see what I’m seeing? People are purposely making rules and undoing laws to allow criminals to walk free and charging good citizens with crimes for speaking out. How does this happen in a free country? Are we really free? Somehow, somewhere the water has become muddy. The power that once belonged to the people was given away to the money-hungry lawmakers by those who chose this tainted regime. Where are you now after months of coming against the good people of this country? Are you happy with what you have done? Those who once walked around with puffed out chests are now watching their choice sign executive orders to give away our wealth to other countries, while distributing crumbs to the people who were the ones that put the money into those coffers. Don’t you worry, though; those of us who love and trust God knows that he’s in control. No matter how comical this movie seems, the ending will be good; you can count on it!

The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers were gathered together, against the Lord and against his Anointed’— for truly in this city there were gathered together against your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, along with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel, to do whatever your hand and your plan had predestined to take place. And now, Lord, look upon their threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all boldness, Acts 4:26-29

February 2

Does this sound familiar?

“And as they were speaking to the people, the priests and the captain of the temple and the Sadducees came upon them, greatly annoyed because they were teaching the people and proclaiming in Jesus the resurrection from the dead. And they arrested them and put them in custody until the next day, for it was already evening”. Acts 4:1-3

We have reached a new era where freedom of speech has been twisted and is considered hate. The truth is that even the Bible is considered hate speech and lies. If things continue as they are, we can expect all of our rights to disappear and our Bibles destroyed. Learn as much as you can right now from God’s Word because the challenges are coming, and we need to have his word hidden in our hearts. If you currently rely on a Bible app, make sure you have a physical copy of it in the version you like. The more we have, the less likely it will be for them to confiscate them all. I suppose they could steal everything I have, but I will fight for my Bible. Don’t get me wrong, I do not worship it, but I worship and cherish the One who wrote it, and I like to refer to it daily to keep it fresh in my heart.

Hell is waiting for those who come against God’s children.

February 1

I hope you are like me and dreaming of the day when God restores order, and we no longer have to deal with sin and the enemy. I’m confident that day is coming soon. I hope everyone is ready.

I write these daily devotionals to make Christians aware of their shortcomings and help them shore up their faith. Many walking around with the label of Christian will not make it into the Kingdom of Heaven because they’ve taken salvation for granted. We all sin, it’s in our nature, but our reaction to that occasional sin points to the truth about our salvation. Are you immediately remorseful and crushed if you make a mistake and sin? Do you grovel for forgiveness? Or, do you take it lightly as if it’s no big deal? You can’t do anything to earn salvation, but you should be eternally grateful that you don’t have to live with the consequences of sin and you do whatever you can to please God. Evaluate yourself today. I wouldn’t want you being left behind because of a false sense of security. No, you cannot lose your salvation, but the question is, did you ever have it?

Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send the Christ appointed for you, Jesus, whom heaven must receive until the time for restoring all the things about which God spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets long ago. Acts 3:19-21

January 31

We are over a year into this pandemic, and one thing that I’ve noticed is that God used it to sort out the good from the bad in our government and the people. The good did their best to stop the virus while preserving our way of life, while the bad used it to push their evil agenda of lockdowns and muzzles. The face-covering was only the beginning and was symbolic of what was to come concerning our freedom of speech. They are training us to do what they mandate, whether it’s constitutional or not. None of the prescribed methods slowed the spread; in fact, the states that had the total lockdowns have seen more cases per capita than those states with fewer restrictions. However, it served its purpose of what God had intended and opened our eyes to the total corruption of our government and those politicians who are only in it for the money and to create laws that legalize heinous perversion. There is and was so much hidden under cover of darkness that it’s frightening how detestable and sick our society has become. Don’t stop praying for the light to expose the evil; it’s working; God is answering our prayers.

He deprives of speech those who are trusted and takes away the discernment of the elders. He pours contempt on princes and loosens the belt of the strong. He uncovers the deeps out of darkness and brings deep darkness to light. He makes nations great, and he destroys them; he enlarges nations, and leads them away. Job 12:20-23

January 30

I was up all night with my little dog Rudy. He was sick to his stomach. We’re on the fourth floor of a high rise, and the street is close to the building, so we have to gear up before going out. Poor baby, I feel so bad for him, he’s still sick this morning, and I can hardly keep my eyes open, so if I ramble incoherently, please forgive me.

Many things are going on worldwide today, unimaginable things that remain hidden under cover of darkness. You’re not going to hear about them if you keep your eyes glued to the television and you listen to the message it spreads; it’s there to keep you cloaked in misinformation and steer your attention away so you don’t uncover the truth. You were given the Holy Spirit for a reason, not only to enlighten you to the truth of God’s Word but the provide you with discernment for what’s going on around you. If you continue to believe the lies that are forced on you, when the truth comes out, you will be stunned. Pray right now for the Holy Spirit to open your eyes and shed light on your path so you are not overwhelmed when you hear the truth; otherwise, you may end up sick to your stomach just like Rudy.

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8

January 28

Some days, I can read my Bible and get an immediate message, even if I’ve only read a few verses. Other days I need to read several chapters with stops along the way to chew on things that the Holy Spirit highlights. Of course, today was one of those chapter days where I find myself falling into a rabbit hole, only this hole has answers and significance, but you have to dig a little deeper to figure out what it is. The funny thing is, today, I asked God to open my eyes to more details, and now I wish I had left that door closed. Sometimes you regret answered prayers, though I don’t regret this answered prayer; it only opened the door to more questions. Here is one of the questions: What is the significance of 153 fish in John 21:11?

So Simon Peter went aboard and hauled the net ashore, full of large fish, 153 of them. And although there were so many, the net was not torn.

Some days I wish I had better mathematical skills. After typing that question into my search bar and choosing the most reliable source, I found that 153 is a triangle number... okay? If you add the numbers individually, like 1+2+3... through 17, it equals 153... okay? There’s more, but you’ll have to look it up if it interests you. Does this number have a hidden meaning? You bet it does!! More than one! The basic meaning of this verse is Jesus’s disciples need to go and teach all the world about him, and he would haul in those fish without breaking the net. You can dig deep for hidden meanings, but sometimes you need to stick to the basics of loving God and loving people. I feel that I’m leaving this incomplete, but if you want to learn more, do a quick search, and you’ll see what I mean.

January 27

The people asked for a king. They cried and cried to God to make them a nation like the others, so he fulfilled their wishes, though he knew they were better off with the system he had set up. God gave them Saul. He was a bad king and treated the people of the kingdom poorly, and they regretted their prayers. God anointed David while Saul was still king, but David had to learn how to be a king, so while he waited, God taught him through many trials and lessons. He grew in strength and knowledge, and after Saul died, David became the most well-known king Israel has ever had.

Then Jesus comes along many years later, fulfilling all of the prophecies about him, did miracles, and taught them how to enter the kingdom of heaven while on earth, but they listened to the Pharisees and the leaders and believed all the false information they heard about him. Jesus showed the people the truth, but they were too blind to see it, so they crucified him.

Sometimes God gives blind people what they ask for so they will open their eyes to the truth. He allows them to suffer the consequences of their actions. Those who recognized the truth and supported the good king have to sit back and watch as the people get what they deserve. Fortunately for us, God resurrected our true King, and we live under his protection no matter who is crowned here on earth.

So Jesus came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. Pilate said to them, “Behold the man!” When the chief priests and the officers saw him, they cried out, “Crucify him, crucify him!” Pilate said to them, “Take him yourselves and crucify him, for I find no guilt in him.” John 19:5-6

January 26

The more my eyes are enlightened to the truth of this world, the more I understand why, when I was a child, my parents prohibited me from watching certain things on television. Because of their love, they protected me from becoming indoctrinated into submission to the government, Hollywood, the news, and the satanic cult. The government uses Hollywood and the news to control the people's minds, teaching them how they want them to act, behave, and respond to certain situations. It’s hard to know what to believe today.

Did you know that the term “conspiracy theorist” is a made-up term to label people who are getting close to the truth, insult them, and direct them away from it? When we hear that the only truth is in the Bible, you better believe it! I’m at the point where I think the only way for us to get back to what God had intended is for Jesus to return right away, or the Tower of Babel needs to come down again, meaning the television and the internet! We need to get back to enjoying one another by meeting together in person and experiencing what it means to be human again. You need to ask God to give you discernment so you can uncover the truth for yourself.

Then Pilate said to him, “So you are a king?” Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. For this purpose I was born and for this purpose I have come into the world—to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice.” Pilate said to him, “What is truth?” After he had said this, he went back outside to the Jews and told them, “I find no guilt in him. John 18:37-38

January 25

There is a movement in this world that most people don’t believe, if that’s you, you need to get your head out of the sand and take a look around. There is a sinister underground network that enslaves children. You can hear about these missing children and the arrest of their captors in the real news. Some of these children have been abandoned and have no homes to return to, and may have been held captive since birth. My heart breaks for them. How are they going to overcome the trauma? Will there be people to help them reenter society? I expect we will begin to see more of this very soon, and I feel we need a plan to help them. What are the people of God going to do? We cannot leave them to others in the world to handle this; that’s why they are in this situation. Today, ask God if this may be a ministry you should consider getting involved in. Start praying about it now because the need for workers in that ministry will be opening very soon.

"Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward." Psalms 127:3

January 24

Yesterday, I spent some time on the beach. The shoreline soothes my soul, and I can focus my prayer and conversations with God. I usually hear God’s voice when I’m quiet, but on this day, I heard him in my prayer. It was so much more than I could have ever imagined. I began speaking in rhythms like a rapper or a poet. I almost couldn’t believe what I was hearing; each word I said related to the previous and was reminiscent of a psalm. It was a stunningly beautiful array of passionate conversation with our Heavenly Father. How does this happen, and who can I thank for this scripted yet unscripted linguistic ability to arrange my words? There is only one who can take a moment and make it his own, the Holy Spirit. Is this a new chapter in my writing? Maybe, but I have to study poetic form to make sure I’m following a pattern so I don’t appear foolish. If God can take hold of the words that I know and form them into rhythmic prayer, you can bet he can use the language of angels to glorify himself when we release our worries and open our mouths and let the sounds flow. Don’t be afraid. Allow the Holy Spirit to speak through your prayer and arrange the letters for you when you are at a loss for what to say.

To the choirmaster: for the flutes. A Psalm of David. Give ear to my words, O LORD; consider my groaning. Give attention to the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for to you do I pray. Psalms 5:1-2
