Isaiah 4

Through all our trials and tribulations, we are comforted knowing that Jesus is covering all our mistakes with his holy blood. Not only does he cleanse us, but he protects us as though we were Israel in the wilderness with a cloud by day and fire by night. To continue the prophecy, at the beginning of Isaiah 4, he describes the desperation of the women after all the men are killed during the destruction of Jerusalem, but then it goes into the protection of God’s people who are left. It is a beautiful depiction of Christ as the branch.

In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel. And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem: Isaiah 4:2-3

We must spend some time in grateful adoration of our Savior; he is worthy of every ounce of thankfulness we have to offer. Spend time praising and worshipping him with all your heart, soul, and mind. A time may come when that’s all we have, but he is enough.
