July 16, 2022

I spent several hours preparing to list some of our income producing properties for sale. We have a lot on our plate and wanted to give ourselves some breathing room. I hesitated because it’s a lot of work and coordination to sell rental duplex property. Our daughter and grandson live in one of them, so I asked if I could use her apartment for pictures. She was very accommodating about it and said she would do a thorough cleaning and stage it for me. I didn’t know she was upset about it and praying for God’s help. I had everything set up on the multiple listings, exterior photos, showing details, and more, and was ready to press the button to send it all over the internet when Richard came home. I showed him the listing and the numbers, and we discussed it and decided not to sell them. When I told our daughter we had changed our minds, she was relieved to tears. God had answered her prayer, and she knew it! Here we were, thinking we had made the decision, but it was God working on behalf of our daughter. When you think God doesn’t hear you, he shows you that he’s faithful to the people he loves and the people we love. God is working behind the scenes on your behalf too. Don’t be discouraged; sometimes, he has to coordinate the details to be able to answer your prayer. His work began before you finished your request. He’s a good Father.

Before they call I will answer; while they are yet speaking I will hear. Isaiah 65:24

July 15, 2022

If you're not living your life for God, then who? The enemy can mimic the likeness of God, but his illusion of power will diminish when you become useless to him. Satan will leave you crumpled on the floor like dirty laundry. We are starting to see this a lot nowadays; look at the washed-up Hollywood stars who once shone brightly but now are only a dim reflection of Satan's light. Then there are some, if not all, mega-church pastors who received fame and fortune; have they made a deal with the devil too? If so, I expect their punishment to surpass anything we've seen. Has Satan put his mark on their foreheads and hands, where their spirit worships him, and their hands carry out his work? Remember, Satan appears as a beacon of light; that means he mimics the goodness of God but doesn't have the power to save. Turn on your discerning ears; if possible, even the elite of God will fall for the enemy's deception. Isn't that a scary thought?

For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. Matthew 24:24

Armor up! Stay vigilant! We each have a role to play; do your part.

I also will choose harsh treatment for them and bring their fears upon them, because when I called, no one answered, when I spoke, they did not listen; but they did what was evil in my eyes and chose that in which I did not delight.” Isaiah 66:4

July 14, 2022

Let's be clear; God has compassion for his faithful servants. Everyone else will suffer the consequences of their sin. He has given all people a chance to turn away from evil, but they won't listen and have fallen for the enemy's lies.

I will destine you to the sword, and all of you shall bow down to the slaughter, because, when I called, you did not answer; when I spoke, you did not listen, but you did what was evil in my eyes and chose what I did not delight in.” Isaiah 65:12

Our fate as Christ-followers looks much better. I don’t know about you, but I love to eat but look what he says about his followers versus Christ-deniers.

Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: “Behold, my servants shall eat, but you shall be hungry; behold, my servants shall drink, but you shall be thirsty; behold, my servants shall rejoice, but you shall be put to shame; behold, my servants shall sing for gladness of heart, but you shall cry out for pain of heart and shall wail for breaking of spirit. Isaiah 65:13-14

God said it; I believe it!

Our future looks bright, but we need to do everything we can to yank as many from the fire as we can!

July 13, 2022

Yesterday, I purchased the final fruit trees for my garden, a guava tree, and a Miracle Fruit tree. I realized I wanted a Miracle Fruit tree because it made my unsweetened lime soda water taste like Sprite. The nursery that I got them from is at a local church. I’ve known about this church for a while and have had unfortunate encounters with their parishioners before, but it wasn’t until yesterday that I realized they might all be lost. The man who ran the nursery was very nice, but he glazed over when I began talking about the Lord and couldn’t hear me when I tried to yank him from the fire. This same thing has happened with others I’ve spoken to from that congregation. Even though this church sells fruit trees, it is not producing fruit. These people do not know Jesus. They have a form of godliness but deny its power. My heart breaks because they have been led astray and aren’t taught the truth. It’s a massive church with over 2000 people. Their preacher is laughing all the way to the bank for now. I can’t imagine what kind of torment he will face when God gets hold of him. This church is like Miracle Fruit; it makes everything taste sweet for a short time, but soon it will all become sour again, and the people within will pay a heavy price. God help us; we are indeed in the last of the last days.

To avoid being led astray like these people, you must comb the pages of God’s word and clarify your understanding through the power of the Holy Spirit and not some crazy spirit of laughter or such that comes from the enemy.

But you who forsake the LORD, who forget my holy mountain, who set a table for Fortune and fill cups of mixed wine for Destiny, I will destine you to the sword, and all of you shall bow down to the slaughter, because, when I called, you did not answer; when I spoke, you did not listen, but you did what was evil in my eyes and chose what I did not delight in.” Isaiah 65:11-12

July 12, 2022

The wrath of God is scary! However, there is a difference between his wrath and his discipline. The Church, you and I, will receive discipline for our sins, but the unsaved will face his wrath. God is our Father, and as our parent, he will use discipline to point us in the right direction and draw us to him. We are the recipient of his grace, but there is no grace for the unrepentant sinner; there is no covering for their sin until they turn to Jesus; if they turn to Jesus. Take a look at these verses from Isaiah:

“I have trodden the winepress alone, and from the peoples no one was with me; I trod them in my anger and trampled them in my wrath; their lifeblood spattered on my garments, and stained all my apparel… I trampled down the peoples in my anger; I made them drunk in my wrath, and I poured out their lifeblood on the earth.” Isaiah 63:3 & 6

However, we must be careful in our walk. Do not make the mistake of turning against God and siding with evil. We are seeing a lot of that in the church today by trying to be all things to all people and turning our backs on God’s holiness to be inclusive. Righteousness and evil do not intermingle. God is exclusive; he excludes evil from his love and mercy. I expect we will begin to see his correction of the church soon.

But they rebelled and grieved his Holy Spirit; therefore he turned to be their enemy, and himself fought against them. Isaiah 63:10

We can all see that the current administration controlling the United States is no friend of its people. When they give away our oil reserve to another country, nearly decimating it while we suffer inflation, they have committed a crime. They must be held accountable! Taking the oil is a way to force people to live on green energy. This green new deal is not about saving the planet but lining the pockets of the puppet masters. Here is a plan that doesn’t include a weapon of war; pray so much that God gets tired of hearing from you. Pray when you see a headline or hear a report of their treasonous acts. Do it! Whether you see it on television or read of it on social media, reach out to God so he will use his power to take them out. By doing what they did, they took the food right off the table of the American people. We must become the watchman for our country.

On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have set watchmen; all the day and all the night they shall never be silent. You who put the LORD in remembrance, take no rest, Isaiah 62:6

We must not be silent! Reach out to God and pray that he removes them from office before it’s too late.

The LORD has sworn by his right hand and by his mighty arm: “I will not again give your grain to be food for your enemies, and foreigners shall not drink your wine for which you have labored; Isaiah 62:8

July 10, 2022

Jesus read Isaiah 61:1 in the temple and said he was fulfilling this prophecy.

“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, because the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;” Isaiah 61:1

If you stay bound by your past, it is your fault. When you take Jesus as your Savior, he unlocks the chains and releases you from your captor. It’s a heavyweight and a burden to continue to carry your brokenness. It’s especially sorrowful for a Christ-follower to continue to dwell on their painful past without considering the salve of Jesus’s sacrifice. Instead of feeling heartbroken when you think about your past, you should look at it as a stepping stone in life that got you to where you are now. Get over it and move on in freedom. If you continue to feel sorry for yourself, you take his gift for granted. When you make up your mind to live free, it opens up the door to endless joy. It’s up to you to retrain your brain to look at situations in the light of salvation. Jesus set you free, so be free!

July 9, 2022

The other night, our cameras recorded a coyote crossing our property. Though the coyote is smaller than a wolf, it is a close relative and "was once referred to as the American jackal by a behavioral ecologist." I am not a fan of predatory animals and find them reprehensible. However, this young animal was only passing through, and though I don't like them, I enjoy seeing any wildlife. I have seen a few rabbits on the property and in our yard, but this one didn't look like it had recently eaten. It glanced at my door but kept going. I'm happy that it didn't stick around and left us alone.

There is a lot of symbolism in this occurrence. The wolf is symbolic of Satan, and a coyote is as close as you can get to a wolf in our part of the country. The good news is that it crossed our path but kept going as it looked back at our house's doorway. Thankfully, I worship the Lord daily, and my home is full of his glory. The enemy looked but passed on by, only because of Jesus! Make a habit of filling your home with the glory of God daily, so the enemy finds his presence repulsive and passes by. There is good news for our future, and it is coming fast. Stay prepared.

Violence shall no more be heard in your land, devastation or destruction within your borders; you shall call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise. Isaiah 60:18

July 8, 2022

We sat in the dark without air conditioning for four hours last night. A storm came through and blew out our transformer. Lightning struck close to the house; I know this because I heard it and saw it simultaneously. We sometimes take for granted the continuous supply of electricity until it’s gone. And of course, since I live in Florida and the heat is sweltering, it got hot inside fast! So today, I’m looking to purchase a battery-powered fan!

Can you imagine living in a world where the Holy Spirit doesn’t exist? He is essential to our walk with the Lord and a continuous power supply. Where would we be today if we hadn’t received power from on high, the gift of the Holy Spirit? Would we have been able to hold onto our belief in Jesus, or would it diminish as the worldly lifestyle slowly seeps into our being? It’s not worth living in a world without the power of Jesus. The Bible says hell will be unbearable and hotter than a blazing furnace. Jesus won’t be in hell; he will be with us, maintaining a perfect temperature and showering us with his love.

Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the LORD will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you. Isaiah 60:1-2

July 7, 2022

I planted my seeds on July 4th, and they are already popping up! We had a heavy downpour on the 5th, and I thought it had washed away the seeds, but it didn’t, and now they are sprouting! It’s been so long since I planted a garden that I had forgotten how exciting it was to see the blessings of God come to fruition. If a food plot is this exciting, imagine how exciting it will be to see the fruits of our labor when God shows us the crop of people we’ve harvested for Jesus. Stay active, keep cultivating the soil and planting seeds, and like my garden, God will water it with rich fertile water from heaven. We are nearing the harvest time, and I expect it to be abundant. He said his word would not return void so let’s keep spreading its seed.

“And as for me, this is my covenant with them,” says the LORD: “My Spirit that is upon you, and my words that I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, or out of the mouth of your offspring, or out of the mouth of your children's offspring,” says the LORD, “from this time forth and forevermore.” Isaiah 59:21

July 6, 2022

Richard’s dad, God rest his soul, collected everything! He had a self-storage built for investment; however, he filled nine or ten units with his stuff. Now, it’s under contract and expected to close any day, which means those units had to be vacated. Our guys have spent a couple of weeks finding room elsewhere for everything. One of the units had a gorgeous dining room set with a table that seats 12. I’ve always longed to have a table that seats my entire family because, as a kid, I detested having to sit at the “kids table.” I have two dining room sets in my house now! However, when they started bringing in the table, I realized that it was more than the table; there was more furniture than I expected. Now my enclosed back porch is full. Thankfully, Richard’s sister is taking some of it. Still, my house looks like a used furniture storehouse.

What is the spiritual significance of my situation? Here’s my thought, if you haven’t filled your storehouse, maybe it’s time, but I’m not talking about furniture; you may need a supply of food. The world is heating up, and evil cannot continue at the pace it’s going without facing the wrath of God, and we need to prepare so we don’t become collateral damage in his quest to rid the world of disgust. Make a plan and carry it out. Our hope is in Jesus, but we must be wise.

According to their deeds, so will he repay, wrath to his adversaries, repayment to his enemies; to the coastlands he will render repayment. So they shall fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun; for he will come like a rushing stream, which the wind of the LORD drives. “And a Redeemer will come to Zion, to those in Jacob who turn from transgression,” declares the LORD. Isaiah 59:18-20

July 5, 2022

It’s late to be planting a garden, and this Florida heat is oppressive, but I thought I would grow a few things to see what happens. The worst-case scenario is that little or nothing pops up; however, I will have a plot prepared for the fall if I keep the weeds under control. As I was clearing the rest of the ground, I noticed that certain weeds would come out quickly, then others had deep roots that I struggled to pull up. It was just after 7 am; it was a little cooler, so I thought the bugs would leave me alone; I was wrong! As I tried to pull up those weeds with the long roots, gnats began aggravating me, almost to the point I was about to give up. I kept going, swatting away the gnats and digging deep to get the long-rooted weeds out. Knowing that lessons come from struggles, I prayed and told the Lord I understood what he was teaching me. Shortly after that, the bugs left me alone, and I finished clearing the garden. Here’s the lesson: when you are trying to come clean and stop sinning, the enemy will send a battalion of warriors to go after you, hoping you will give up, so he can keep you oppressed. Don’t stop! Keep moving forward; it may not be easy, but it will be worth every effort you put into it. The rewards for obedience to God are more significant than any agreements you might have with the devil.

but your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear. Isaiah 59:2

Truth is lacking, and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey. The LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no justice. Isaiah 59:15

July 4, 2022

It rained a couple of inches yesterday. After it stopped, I went outside to check on my newly planted fruit trees and see if the pond was filling. I noticed two drain pipes with water flowing into the pond. I traced them back to the driveway, where there was a large puddle. I couldn’t see the pipe but could see that the water from the puddle was flowing toward what might have been the beginning. I decided to dig out the roots and debris to see if it would help it flow faster; it worked! The puddle emptied in a matter of minutes, and the water quickly poured out the end of the pipe into the pond.

Today is the perfect day to gain your independence! If you are having trouble hearing the voice of God, could you have some debris blocking the entry? Have roots and other things gathered prohibiting the Holy Spirit from flowing freely? Ask God to help you clear your mind of the encumbrances and set you free from the emotional bondage in which the enemy has you chained. Liberty and freedom are yours; all you have to do is ask, and the Holy Spirit will flow through you like a spring of water, and you will be like a watered garden.

“Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke? Isaiah 58:6

And the LORD will guide you continually and satisfy your desire in scorched places and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.

July 3, 2022

I can’t make this stuff up! Look at the headline in the second portion of Isaiah 56: ISRAEL’S IRRESPONSIBLE LEADERS

Here is one of the verses that go with that heading:

The dogs have a mighty appetite; they never have enough. But they are shepherds who have no understanding; they have all turned to their own way, each to his own gain, one and all. Isaiah 56:11

It’s like history is repeating itself, only it has spread like wildfire throughout the entire world. We have all seen some leaders we could swear are drunk while giving their television interviews. They aren’t’ even trying to hide it!

“Come,” they say, “let me get wine; let us fill ourselves with strong drink; and tomorrow will be like this day, great beyond measure.” Isaiah 56:12

It is imperative that we stay close to Jesus to get us through this challenging time and continue to pray that our government is replaced by people who sincerely trust in the Lord.

July 2, 2022

I've been digging in the dirt and tilling the soil. Planting various kinds of shrubs and trees; some produce fruit, and others produce leaves for teas. I'm also getting a bed ready for a few vegetables and peas. While the world is distraught over its government's move toward tyranny, I will stay busy in the garden and find my peace. Whether we live or die, we will have peace because of our faith in the Lord.

For thus says the One who is high and lifted up, who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, and also with him who is of a contrite and lowly spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly, and to revive the heart of the contrite. Isaiah 57:15

However, the tyrants will never be at peace. Their push to enslave, press down, and overtake will result in their demise. They will struggle in their pursuit and anguish in their death. I don’t feel sorry for them, but my heart breaks for those who blindly follow. God help them because they know not what they are doing, and allow us to gain the strength from you to overtake our enemies. May those who can’t see open their eyes so we can work together to defeat this evil.

But the wicked are like the tossing sea; for it cannot be quiet, and its waters toss up mire and dirt. There is no peace,” says my God, “for the wicked.” Isaiah 57:20-21

July 1, 2022

Many things are happening that should place the United States back on track. The Supreme Court made a decision that may put unelected officials back in their place and make congress responsible for making the rules. Their ruling against the EPA to limit their power to control greenhouse gasses and climate change could affect other agencies. Now, instead of the Constitution being in the background, it has been placed in the forefront, and true freedom is just beyond the horizon. The rules and restrictions made on a whim by liberal heads will be limited. I hope this means what I think it means; that all the three-letter agencies (CIA, FBI, IRS, etc.) will have their hands tied, and that’s great news for us. This Independence Day may be the best one we have ever seen.

One of my missions is to help Christians rid themselves of the restrictions and limits placed on them by the enemy so they will be free. I hope that the United States is slowly experiencing that same kind of sloughing off of old and tired rules that restrict all of us from true freedom. Pray that this American dream comes true.

“For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress; instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle; and it shall make a name for the LORD, an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.” Isaiah 55:12-13

June 30, 2022

As June ends, let's change our focus from the worldly stresses for a moment and look to God and his promises to his children.

"Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, and your labor for that which does not satisfy? Listen diligently to me, and eat what is good, and delight yourselves in rich food. Isaiah 55:1-2

How can we eat and drink without paying? This invitation to eat is spiritual, though I do not doubt that when Jesus comes to rule and reign, we will eat, drink, and be merry for eternity. Until then, we must seek satisfaction by consuming the Word of God as our portion. Jesus paid the price; it is his money we are spending. He is our drink when we are thirsty and our food when we are hungry.

We waste a lot of time worrying ourselves over things that don't matter. We live in this world, so I don't think we can ignore what is happening, but we shouldn't become consumed and weighed down by it. We must strike a balance and not become overwhelmed with situations and circumstances. Open your hearts to hear what the Lord is saying; recline at the table with him, dip your bread in the wine, and consume the rich food and drink that only he can provide.

The Spirit and the Bride say, "Come." And let the one who hears say, "Come." And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price. Revelation 22:17

June 29, 2022

I know this world is getting a bit sketchy, but the wins for liberty we’ve had over the last few days are a beacon of hope for a peaceful future. Though we had some successes, some things still make you wonder what in the world is going on. If you get a chance, look up CERN. They are doing some things and have created a machine that deals with particles; I don’t understand the scientific language or know enough about this to be chiming in, but I found an article that explains it. You’ll have to look for it; I’m not posting it. They are the ones who have a scientist on their staff that created the internet! They are entirely demonic! Remember the Tower of Babel and the people trying to reach God? These scientists may be trying to do the same and get to God through some kind of portal. I don’t know if their goal is to reach God or become like God, but no matter what, it’s not good. Will God confuse the language and take down the internet? The internet has made it so our languages are not confused anymore, and we can communicate worldwide like in the days of Babel. It gets worse, but I’ll let you do your own research.

Here’s the good news; we don’t have to worry! God’s love will not depart from us! I’m only telling you this to make you aware, so when you see the hand of God moving, you will know it is him and not evil.

no weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD and their vindication from me, declares the LORD.” Isaiah 54:17

June 28, 2022

How can anyone, especially those of the Jewish faith, read Isaiah 53 and deny that Jesus is the Messiah? The Old Testament is their very own Bible! I guarantee they are like most Christians and have never read it. Jesus is the thread that runs the entire length of the Bible, Old, and New Testaments, and if you were to pull that thread out, it would fall apart. He was there from the beginning of Genesis clear through to Revelation. Even Isaiah, having never met him in the flesh, knew he was, and is, and is to come, because he tells us that he makes intercession for us. The King James Version says he “made” intercession; however, the version I use, The English Standard Version, says “makes.” Both are accurate because he interceded then and continues to, but the ESV shows the unbelievers that he’s still alive. The difference in these versions shows how one little letter can change an outcome of a verse and how important it is to cross-reference your preferred version to other versions. If you have a Jewish friend that denies that Jesus is the Messiah, show them Isaiah 53 in their Bible; it uses the word “made” in its version. It could change their life!

Therefore I will divide him a portion with the many, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong, because he poured out his soul to death and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of many, and makes intercession for the transgressors. Isaiah 53:12

June 27, 2022

Because we were thrust into a business that we didn’t create, the circle of people we meet has grown. Sometimes the Holy Spirit indicates their character; some people are good, some are not. Then there are those you meet, whether in business or church, that you know you love immediately. I had that encounter at church yesterday. I stay to myself most of the time because I’m a bit introverted, so I remain cautious and alert, but the Holy Spirit prodded me to approach a beautiful soul, and I’m so glad I listened to him. It’s the next day, and I’m still thinking about her! I don’t know if God plans for us to become friends, but her spirit speaks to mine, so whether we are friends outside of the church or if she has been placed in my life to admire from afar, I do not know, but what I do know is that she is my sister in Christ and that’s enough. God may have placed her in front of me to anchor me to this new church we are attending. We’ve been wondering about the vast desert of churches for many years now and need a place to call home. I hope this is it!

If you get nothing from this message today, know this, God has given you a sense about people; listen to it. He will show you their character before committing to them, which is a good thing.

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.” The voice of your watchmen—they lift up their voice; together they sing for joy; for eye to eye they see the return of the LORD to Zion. Isaiah 52:7-8
