Jesus said, “I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.” The Pharisees had told Jesus that he should rebuke his disciples because they were praising him, and that was his response. It is our honor and duty to worship our King and Savior. Psalms 135 was thought to have been written by Solomon for the dedication of the temple. We could learn a thing or two from those who have gone before us and how to worship.

Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the name of the LORD; praise him, O ye servants of the LORD.  Psalms 135:1

Remember, not only is praising God through singing an act of worship, but so is your dedication to seeking Him and learning His ways. Praying, studying, reading, and sharing the gospel with others is an act of worship. The more time you spend honoring God and his call on your life, the more blessed you will be. Commit to spending a part of your day acknowledging God through your dedication to Him.
