To the followers of Christ: We often wonder, when we have told people about Jesus, or even if we don’t specifically share the gospel with them, but live our lives in such a manner that honors him and gives him glory, why they don’t see and turn their lives over to him? We have a friend that is close to our family, that knows we love and worship Jesus, but still can’t bring himself to turn his life over to him. It grieves our entire family, because we love and care about him. However, here is where most Christians get this wrong: we were given a task, you could call it busy work, to go and tell others about Jesus; however, we are not the ones who call people to Jesus; it is the Holy Spirit who is in charge of that work. If people are not called, they will not come to know Jesus, and there is nothing you can do about it. Stay busy and do what you are commanded to do, and maybe one day the blind will see and turn their lives over to Jesus.

In the final portion of the story about the man blind from birth whom Jesus healed, he was cast out because he called out the Pharisees, saying that if he were not of God, he could do nothing. Jesus looked for him and showed him who had healed him, and the man worshipped him. Do you see what I mean? Jesus found him, not the other way around.

They answered and said unto him, Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out. Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God? John 9:34-35
