Isaiah 66
Judgment is coming, and it will be fierce!
For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many. Isaiah 66:16
Those that remain will go up to worship the Lord and will pass by, and be able to see all the dead bodies of those who transgressed against him. In Mark 9, Jesus says five times that the fire will not be quenched.
Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. Mark 9:44
Isaiah says almost the same thing:
And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh. Isaiah 66:24
Even though Christ followers may have to see the bodies of those whom the Lord slew, there is good news: we will also see the new heaven and new earth. Death will not be a part of our existence, and we will no longer experience sadness or pain, and the best news of all is that we will dwell with God.
Shore up your faith in God, and surrender your life to Jesus if you haven’t already done so. It seems we are nearing the end, and if we are, you need to be ready.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. Revelation 21:4-5
