So much of our trouble and turmoil could be avoided if we would just listen to the one who has the power and strength to help us overcome it. You say “well how can we hear Him?” And I say, when was the last time you opened your Bible? Solomon said it best when he said that ‘there is nothing new under the sun.” The scriptures written in the Bible are the very words of God himself! He has a solution for your problems, wisdom to help you prosper, comfort when you are downhearted, and encouragement when you need a push. Instead we find our scripture on memes, wisdom from the words of a dead “god” on Instagram, or some other social media avenue. The Bible is relevant, it is living, and the God of the Bible is alive! The one true and living God has the power to raise the dead, don’t you think He has the power to help you with your problem? Put down your social media and pick up a Bible, there is truth in those words!
My son, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Let them not escape from your sight; keep them within your heart. For they are life to those who find them, and healing to all their flesh. Proverbs 4:20-22
