December 7

I'm not too much into fishing so when my husband wants to go, I'm not all that thrilled. It's not that I don't catch them, because I'm actually pretty good at it, it's just that it's a little boring to me. However, one day we began fishing in the cove off Boca Grande when the water was crystal clear. Every cast caught a fish. That wasn't the best part of it though, I could actually watch the fish chase my bait! It reminds me of when Jesus sent out the seventy two to teach others about Him. He said if they receive you in peace, then stay in that house. If the fish are biting, stay there! You can't expect someone to receive you if they are hostile to the message or messenger. These fish were receiving my message and taking the bait and eating it up! The point is that if someone doesn't want to hear the gospel just move on along, it becomes their problem at that point. Those who receive you, keep on feeding them for as long as God tells you to.

Whatever house you enter, first say, 'Peace be to this house!' And if a son of peace is there, your peace will rest upon him. But if not, it will return to you. And remain in the same house, eating and drinking what they provide, for the laborer deserves his wages. Do not go from house to house. Luke 10:5-7
