There is a man whom I have prayed for years to see a change in his life. When he was younger, the Holy Spirit impressed upon me that he would be a man of God. The devil also knew his potential to bring others to salvation and began sifting him like wheat. He has been in and out of jail, hooked on drugs, and facing a lot of time in prison. He is in jail now and has begun calling regularly. His demeanor has changed, and he is seeking the Lord like never before. He is very well-liked, and others are drawn to him. With his testimony, his potential to lead many to salvation in Jesus is unrivaled. So you can see why the devil has tried him. For the first time in his life, he knows that jail is the best place for him to be.
I don’t ask for prayer very often, but in this case, I would like to invite you to add him to your prayer list if you don’t mind. He needs strength to accomplish what God has called him to, and it would do my heart good to know others are also praying for him. His name is Richard. Thank you so much.
Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. James 5:16
