For years now, I’ve been encouraging people through this daily post to make you consider if you are genuinely saved. Just because you say you are a follower of Christ doesn’t mean you know him. Yes, I know you’ve walked through the steps to salvation, but if your heart hasn’t changed or grown closer to Jesus over the years since, you must consider that your salvation is not secured. When God shakes the church, and it’s coming soon, will you be linked to him, or will you fall out and be separated from the true believers? It's going to happen! Will you be able to endure persecution by standing firm for him, or will you deny him before man and have him deny you before God by saying, “I never knew you?” The events happening right now are not only for America; the world is shaking! As you prepare your home for possible loss of power or an altered food supply, prepare your heart for what may be coming. Make sure you are chained to Jesus and not the world. Things aren’t looking pretty out there, and we need to be ready.
So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven, but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven. Matthew 10:32-33
