January 12

Do not be caught off guard. Not only must you put on the whole armor of God, but you must also be physically prepared in the event that disaster happens. Prepare today! Get your food and water supplies, and be ready. Don’t wait; the stores will empty quickly. Remember, in school, when you had fire drills? It was exciting and terrifying at the same time. God is moving on our behalf; make no mistake; this is part of God’s plan and must happen for us to maintain our liberty. He has heard our prayers, but we may have to give up some of our comforts for a time for this to be fulfilled.

If I’m wrong and nothing happens, those of us along the gulf coast and the Atlantic will be hurricane prepared, and if you’re in the interior, you can make a nice donation to your local shelter or line the shelves of your storm cellar. Not only do the Americans need to prepare, but my friends all over the world need to be ready. It’s better to be safe than sorry.

I’m telling you this out of pure selfishness; if you are hungry, I will feed you; if you are thirsty, I will give you something to drink. I don’t want you to be hungry or thirsty so that I have to provide you with my supply and possibly cause my family to go hungry.

Remember the virgins with their oil? Remember, the foolish girls ran out of it? The wise virgins that got into the wedding told the other girls to buy their own oil. Don’t be like the foolish virgins who were unprepared.

And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ But the wise answered, saying, ‘Since there will not be enough for us and for you, go rather to the dealers and buy for yourselves.’ Matthew 25:8-9
