We have had very little rain here in Florida lately. It has caused everything to be dry and dusty. I spent time watering some of the plants, though I feel it's not enough. We need a slow and steady rain for a couple of days to give the grass a boost and wash the dust off the trees. The same is true for the world right now; we need a steady outpouring of the Holy Spirit to wash us in the Word of God from head to toe. I can't wrap my head around some of the things I see and hear; it makes no sense for adults to argue and debate about the way God created us. Gender is a non-issue, yet it is at the forefront of the news every day. It is a perversion of the truth and goes against our nature. The enemy's lies have infiltrated common sense, and the gullible have fallen for it. If they want to sin, they don't need our permission; we know the truth and will not accept it no matter how hard they push. Cleanse us, Lord Jesus; the world has gone mad.
Wash yourselves; make yourselves clean; remove the evil of your deeds from before my eyes; cease to do evil, learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow's cause. Isaiah 1:16-17
