We’ve gone out to dinner for the last two nights. That’s usual for us, but we are taking a bit of a vacation before the new year. Much to our surprise, many people have had the same idea; the restaurants were packed both nights. It seems like people are finally going back to work, and life is beginning to feel somewhat normal again. However, living in the last of the last days, you cannot call it normal; it’s anything but ordinary. Those awake can never be lulled back to sleep and can see the coming destruction of those around us if they don’t awaken to the truth. We’ve been under the spell of the devil for far too long; he has infiltrated every aspect of our lives. To help you start filtering out the lies, you must resolve to read your Bible daily. Though it doesn’t seem like it would make a difference, I can assure you that feeding your mind wholesome food will enable you to begin seeing the truth.
The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers. 1 Peter 4:7
