We are nearing the end of a big project. Richard has had to jump through hoops for the county on one minor issue that’s holding up the final approval so that we can get the certificate of occupancy. He’s burnt out, and I’m ready to get people moved in and take a vacation. Thankfully, there are an abundance of people moving to Florida every day and few homes available. We are on the right side of the supply and demand issue; we know this to be true because both of our phones ring daily with people needing a place to live, and, though it looks finished, we still consider the project a job site and people trespass regularly hoping to fill a vacancy. It’s been a good thing and has kept him busy, but he’s ready to be done, and I’m ready for him to be done too! Soon we will be putting out the “for rent” sign and giving people a new lease on life. There are still vacancies in the Kingdom of Heaven, and Jesus has put out his sign for all to come. Don’t stop telling people about him because the world seems too crazy; they need Jesus now more than ever! Unlike us waiting for the project to be done before we rent, Jesus is preparing a place for us now, and space is still available. Bring your friends and family; you don’t want them to be left behind.
To this end we always pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling and may fulfill every resolve for good and every work of faith by his power, so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Thessalonians 1:11-12
