On August 11, FEMA and the FCC have planned a nationwide emergency alert test. According to their website, the test will last for 30 minutes. It is preparation for an actual emergency that could affect everyone. These alerts are usually localized because of weather conditions. In Florida, we get these alerts during hurricanes, so it’s pretty standard for us. Why has this been taken from a local test to a nationwide test? What could possibly happen that would affect the entire country? They’ve also set a backup date for August 25th, in case there is an actual emergency on August 11th. This situation seems serious, which makes my cynical mind work overtime. You can never be over-prepared for an emergency. Here is the real emergency: Jesus is coming back! Be ready, without notice, to share the truth of who he is. His return will happen in a blink of an eye without alert. There is no time to wait! Prepare now! Use this post as an early warning. Get ready!
