His momma taught him to love Jesus, and now he’s teaching his baby brother to love him.
If you have ever wondered what your purpose is, remember that even the simplest things we do can become works of God. Years ago, I begged God to show me my purpose; I wanted a job in the kingdom. I prayed for a long time, and then I began writing. Prayer answered.
Your purpose is probably different than mine; we all have responsibilities because we make up the body of Christ. We can’t all do the same thing; if we did, nothing would get done. Thankfully, God has it all planned out and knows the direction each of us will take; he has it well orchestrated. The best part is, you don’t even need to understand all the moving parts; you only need to listen to the Holy Spirit when he instructs you to act.
Don’t worry if you have no clue what your purpose is. One day, he will show you how your actions were part of his plan, and you will hear him say, “Well done my good and faithful servant.”
Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me. Colossians 1:28-29
