Finding out that an evangelist you once trusted has been accused of filthy misconduct can be devastating. Isn’t there anyone we can trust? Protect yourself, and remember that the enemy is waiting for anyone who speaks the Word of God to mess up so that he can shout it from the rooftops. He knows we are only human, and continues to push sin in our faces, and exploit any weakness we might have. We don’t know what lies beneath the surface, or what evil is hidden in the darkness of other people. What must we do? Ask for wisdom and stop relying on evangelist and preachers to feed you. You’re an adult; it’s time for you to begin feeding yourself. Everything we need to know is in the Bible. If you need help to ensure that you hear the Holy Spirit correctly, get a Bible commentary to use as a guide. A free source that is accessible to anyone online is called biblehub. It has several commentaries; you can use them all or select the one you like the most and use it to follow along with your daily reading. You need to get used to studying for yourself because the world is chipping away at our freedom of religion daily. The only way to be sure you are getting fed is to pick up the fork and eat!
