Some days I rush through the scriptures and then write a story, but then other days I linger a little longer because it’s like feasting on a delicious ribeye steak. Today was one of those days. I’ve skirted around Paul’s writings because I wanted to hear what the other apostles had to say with a clear mind, but I’ve covered all of them until today. I started Hebrews and the author is unknown but could be attributed to Paul. Whoever wrote it was very eloquent with their words because they made me stop in the middle of the first chapter and worship God and praise Jesus. What a great way to start a new week! He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, Hebrews 1:3
We know that Jesus is special, but expressing just how amazing he is using words, we don’t always do him justice. Chew on Hebrews 1:3 today, and let’s worship him together by remembering that he is the radiance of the glory of God.
