I was on the interstate in Tampa yesterday, and the traffic came to an abrupt stop. My only concern was stopping quick enough, so I didn’t hit the car in front of me. Seconds later, I see a semi-truck swerving to go around me because I don’t even think he hit the brakes; he went speeding past me. An immediate sense of thankfulness washed over me because I realized God had protected me from possible death. My time was not up! Thank goodness. We do not control our birth nor our death; when your time is up, nothing is going to stop God from bringing you home. You have no control of your ending! Don’t live your life in fear; have faith that you are in God’s hands and on his time. You need only to make sure you have accepted Jesus as your savior, to secure your eternity with him.

For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.1 Thessalonians 4:14
