The heat of the summer has finally taken over. I love the outdoors, but when it’s hot, I tend to remain inside where it’s cool. It’s 8 am here in Florida, and it’s already 77 degrees Fahrenheit, and expected to get to 98 degrees today. There’s no sense in getting all dolled-up, makeup will just get washed away by the sweat. If this heat is any indication of how it might be in hell, I’ll take my chances with Jesus! Jesus is our ticket to the climate controlled environment of Heaven. This is the requirement: believe that Jesus died to take on the sins of the world, including yours. Though it might seem easy, belief is much harder than you think and requires the assistance of the Holy Spirit. Here are five easy steps according to Paul in the book of Romans:
* for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God 3:23
* For the wages of sin is death 6:23
* but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. 6:23
* if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10:9
* Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. 5:1
I hope that if you don’t know Jesus, today will be the beginning of a new life in him. Won’t you let him save you from an eternity in Hell?
