May 6

I’ve been writing this devotional for several years. When I began, I made a commitment to post a scripture each day; then scriptures on pictures. Once I got comfortable with that, I included a short commentary on what God had shown me, and it grew from there. He even gave me the ability to publish a couple of books. There are days that I feel empty, and don’t know what to write, but God, in his compassion for me, will give me words to help me along. Sometimes I will write a sentence, and use words that I don’t know the meaning; this is how great he is, and how I know he is helping me. The reason I’m telling you all of this is because if God can do this for me, he will do this for you, but it may not look the same because we all have different spiritual gifts. It doesn’t happen all at once as you can see from my own progression, but if you will be faithful and commit to a small thing, he will bless you, and give you increase. I get very emotional when I think of how he has trusted me to feed his sheep; it is the most fulfilling part of my life, and I couldn’t be more grateful that he allows me to serve him. The Holy Spirit has something for you; today, ask him to show you what it is.

“One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much. Luke 16:10
