We are now only a few days away from the Feast of Trumpets. If Jesus calls us to himself during this feast, are you ready? We, the Lord's church, are the virgins in the parable of the ten virgins. We must have our lamps filled with oil. If we aren't ready when he calls us to himself and our lamps are empty, it will be too late to fill them, and we will be denied entry to the marriage supper of the Lamb. Since I'm writing to believers, I'm sure you are ready. Make sure you are placing Jesus above everything in your life; do not look back and long for the family or friends you left behind when you accepted Jesus as your Savior, like Lot's wife did when they left their evil town. We must look toward Jesus, leaving the cares of the world behind, and worship him as our spouse and King. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. Matthew 25:13
Remember Lot's wife. Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. Luke 32-33
The king's daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold. She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework: the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee. With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king's palace. Psalms 45:13-15
