Practice discernment. Exercise wisdom. Use knowledge. Slice and dice the information you absorb. The enemy has a cunning way of mixing the truth with the lies, making the information he feeds us seem credible. The media are subject to their stockholders, who are also investors in other corporations, so they will give us information that benefits those stockholders. If you follow the money back to the source, you will find that two major companies own most corporations, and those two organizations are linked. Nearly everything we buy, unless it comes from a small business, is connected to these enterprises. The owners of those two firms are controlling everything. We live in a tangled web, and the only one who can sort it all out is God. I am praying for us to discern the truth. If we stay in God’s word, we will know the truth, and the truth will set us free.

But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil. Hebrews 5:15
