Last night, I decided to re-read Revelation. So many things are happening that I wanted to see if I could find any clues to what may be coming. In the first chapter, John tells us to read it aloud, and we will be blessed. He was right. I read all 22 chapters out loud, and, at one sitting, it made a difference in my understanding. I believe it has several layers to the same time frame. Most of the vision took place on earth, but some of it took place before the throne of God. My goal is to read it through a few more times, hoping the Holy Spirit gives me understanding beyond my current knowledge. Reading a book of the Bible straight through gives you and different perspective, and you are less likely to forget the details of what you just read. It’s something to think about, though some books may be too long to do that. Though we may not know the day, we will know the season if we are awake; we are in that season. I’m convinced that many who think they are awake are still sleeping because of the enemy's deception. Clean up the layers of old lies and ask for a fresh anointing of the truth.
Wake up, and strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your works complete in the sight of my God. Remember, then, what you received and heard. Keep it, and repent. If you will not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come against you. Revelation 3:2-3
