July 14

For years we’ve gone to work and wished we were at home, but now that we’ve been home for months, we wish we were back at work. Have you ever looked at this and thought that maybe God had given us what we asked for? He stopped people from working, deflated the economy, and gave the world a Sabbath rest. Maybe God is repaying those who have paid too much in taxes, and he’s leveling the playing field by giving out stimulus money. Whatever the case may be, God is involved, you can bet your last breath on it! God is in the middle of everything, good, or bad. No matter how far you run, you can’t get away from him, he is omnipresent. If we want the world to stop bleeding, we have to turn to him, and beg for his mercy. Christian friends, we must pray that God have mercy on the world. He listens. Speak up!

What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, in order to make known the riches of his glory for vessels of mercy, which he has prepared beforehand for glory— Romans 9:22-23
