Aren’t you afraid? I’m not talking about the fear of man, what can he do? He can only take your body and has no control of your eternity. If there is any fear, it should be what we are doing to ourselves by not believing that the Almighty God is who He says He is. We have made the opinions of others, and how we appear, more important than following the Word of the Lord. We have a fear of not fitting in, and seek to impress the world so we may be looked upon in a different light. We see this all the time, especially in social media, where a person will make sure their BMW, or other fancy vehicle is displayed in their pictures. I’ve even seen it where someone will show other people’s wealth in photos, just to make others think it is theirs! Why in the world would you care? We are heir to the kingdom of God! There is nothing higher than that. Earthly wealth will disappear, or someone else gets it when you die. Study the Lord, learn of His attributes, and seek to please Him.
So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?” Hebrews 13:6
